Building my yj
Getting ready to start building my 93 YJ. So far i just Been buying parts. Getting a big pile so far and still way under budget. list is as this far.
$500 93 YJ with hard top full doors and half doorsstraight body was runing but 30 min and new set of pugs drove it home. $400 D44 front and Ford 9in rear with 4:10 and lock rights in $250 New fornt seats with 4 point harnes $1200 4.5in Rubicon express extream dudy lift (free t-shirt lol) $1500 Vortec 5.3 and auto trans out of 03 tahoe (with computers) FREE 10000 lbs winch new in bow friend said just get it out of my way lol FREE old high lift jack This should keep me busy

have not got tires and wheels yet but thinking either 33 or 35 know i will have to cut fenders. will take some pics and post as i go.

Does the $1200 RE extreme duty lift come with a SYE? If not, add that to the list.
Are you going to run axles full width? You're going to have a nice rig that most of us on this forum would be envious of. Nice job! ![]() |

Here is a few pics lets see if i can do this right.

Dang man! thats a NICE jeep to get for $500. no rust from what i can see. looking good. that thing is gonna be a BEAST! cant wait. keep us updated.

And the work begins
Well I pulled the jeep into the shop today and picked up the engine and trany. Its a chevy 5.7 and a 4L60E auto. not sure of the generation of engine. Trying to find the wireing diagram for the engine and trany to help seprateing all the wires not needed. If any of you know where i can get this please let me know. I think the same computer controles the engine and trany all the wires from both lead back to it. Oh and the donor was a 93 Chevy K1500 4x4. here are tge pics of what i am working on atm.
