brown dog motor mounts

going to replace my mounts. browndog says the passenger side needs their mounting bracket and some replace both brackets. is it worth the $270.00 to replace all of it?

If you can swing it, it wouldn't hurt.

I am running just their mounts though, not the whole upgraded bracket setup.

Fwiw it took 2 weeks for me to get mine. IIRC he makes them to order.

your asking too much. 7 days? seriously? a week to ship, time to process the order, time to make the mounts......

unless he told you they were shipping that day and you paid for the 3 day shipping you have no right to act like you have been waiting and he is not delivering.

It's irresponsible to wrongly criticize a a JF vendor in this manner. 7 days

this is up to you. weight how much $270 means to you versus piece of mind.

And this wealth of knowledge of yours answers the Op's question how?

To the OP I installed just the mounts and not the whole kit four years ago. Do you need the whole kit? I did not, but piece of mind is also nice to have.

Oddly enough, I looked through all of the orders for Feb 9, and found no such order.

I replaced mine with browndog 1 inch lifted mounts and worked fine with my stock cradles or whatever u call the mount they sit on. They take like 2 weeks o make n a week to ship out as they make them specifically for what is on ur jeep and r not premade ahead of time I don't believe. They sent me several emails along the way saying when mine were put into the line then another saying they were done n shipped with a tracking number. Well worth the money IMO n I went with polyurethane even tho most say to go with rubber. Every bushing in my jeep is polyurethane and I got no shacking or nething as others have stated with the polyurethane but my jeep is a manual n not an automatic. People claim with an auto u feel all the vibrations thru the frame when parked or at a stop light, I can't say I've felt this at all with mine.

back in 2006 I got some of these motor mounts (Just the mounts not the cradle) and love them. Mine were for my 4.2L. Browndog makes a quality product. You can't go wrong with them.

Another happy customer. I ripped the factory drivers side mount off the block and it also broke into 2 pieces. I have absolutely no fear that will ever happen again now. Extremely well built.

There are enough good things being said about Brown Dog in here, that I'm going to go check em out.

I have the Novak motor mounts, pretty stout. Although I think I might check out BD stuff for a future project I have in mind.
