Broken vacuum plug....should I be worried?

I pulled out my transfer case to day to do a SYE install, and found one of the four vacuum prongs is broken. Is this a fixable problem, or do I even need to be concerned?

Either replace it or lock your front axle over and change the switch to a Cherokee/TJ style to retain your 4wd light. Neither is hard and you will be done with 4wd engagement problems.

It may be a non issue, as I believe my shift fork is locked over (front shaft spins in 2wd). Nevertheless, I did call Napa and Advanced to see if they had the part, and they wanted $119 & 99 respectively....found it on eBay for $19.99 shipped!

Hmmm, makes me wonder if the folks I spoke with over the phone were looking up a different part than what I needed...
