broken hard top. how can i fix it?
i left my hard top off my jeep this winter and the snow piled up and put a crack in the side. its more of a break than a crack because one part goes behind the other where it is broken. can i use jb weld on it or is there something better? also is it hard to get the side windows back in? the right side window poped out.

Fiberglass is a way you can fix it. The window I have no idea maybe some kind of glass shop could put it in for you.

side window install
go to your local auto parts store and buy the glass setting adhesive. It ia about $19.00 a tube. one will be enough. just follow the instructions on the tube. i did mine about 3 months ago and I put in the new trim around the glass. it is a pretty easy task.

Not to crap on anybody's parade but that top is more than likely made out of SMC which is not fiberglass friendly. It really doesn't adhere very good.Has a tendency to seperate and fall off after time. You can use something like Norton Speedgrip. You can get different types to set up quick or slower.Stuff is hard as nails, can set up in 30 seconds and it doesn't itch.Only drag is it takes a special gun and tips to use it.But if you really had to you could buy a tube push it out in equal parts and mix it by hand and use it.Check it out.

!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried using fiber glass fiber and resin and the stuff just wouldn't stick to the hard top! It just kept slipping off like a wet noodle instead of bonding. I was trying to fix some chipped spots along the bottom edges. I was forced to use a few layers of bondo to get the desired results. Maybe JB weld would work on your crack...?
