Brake light problem

hey guys how ya doing,got a pretty improtant question here.yesterday i finally put the jeep on the roadbig accomplishment.everything is great only problem is i was backing into the shop and when i got close to the wall i noticed that my brake lights wouldnt light up when the peddal was applied,.running lights work,signals work,reverse light works.can anybody chime in and lend me some advise please.also as soon as i go to the fuse panel under the dash the 15 amp fuse was blown.so i put another 15 in and is sparked as soon as i installd it and blew the fuse.any help would be great guys i need it for work in the morning thanks again.Yjmudder

Hey guys i have found the problem.my wiring harness thats behind the driver seat that runns alon the inside of the tub was melted im geussing when the bodywork was done it got alittle hot back there.so on my way to the scrap hard to find a NEW harness
