Brake booster and master cylinder

While I'm doing a bunch of brake work, I am going to replace the booster and master cylinder. I can't seem to find a thread I read a long time ago that identified a specific year of YJ that had a better booster and master. Anyone know?

I just redid the power booster and master cylinder for my 89...got the $100 one from advance and she works like a dream...just bleed the lines really well and replace all of the bleeder valves while you're at it...makes a huge difference. Even improved my engine performance

Unless you're pressed for time or just really want new parts, you can get TJ or XJ boosters with the m/c all day on eBay for under $70.

Pep boys has the MC from a ford e-350 that bolted right up to my buddy's YJ. He said it was under $20 too!

Well, I haven't got to the parts store yet but am thinking the 95 wrangler booster and master might be the easiest and take the least amount of fab.

Yes it is but the problem is finding them.
I can pretty much guarantee you will not be able to get them at the parts store.
I found mine at
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/se...=Brake+Booster
I would call them to make sure they are in stock.

93 YJ SOA 2" springs front, XJ springs rear w/main leaf added, High pinon 9 inch rear detroit locker front Dana 44 ARB 4.56 Gears, 36 inch Irok tires too much to list. www.mijc.org

The TJ booster can be made to fit but it takes a little fab work. The bracket mount is not the same and the push rod length is different.
