Bought my first YJ last night!!!

So I finally entered the YJ world!!! I picked up a '92 last night and couldn't be happier. Just had to share with somebody that might understand my excitement...

Welcome to the Loony Bin!

Looks good. What size tires, lift, etc?

It looks like you stepped into a semi-built Jeep already.
JMO-I'd make sure that all of the fluids have been changed.
1) Front and rear diffs
2) t-case
3) transmission
4) brake fluid

Also, change the fuel filter!

Other than the stickers, I think that you scored.

nice choice, I have an 87 that is the same color, but I have the hard top on it right now. good luck keeping any money in the bank after buying it though, it will all go away.

It looks like there is something wrong with the soft top in the rear like the spreader bars aren't up or are missing.

Thanks guys! I'm excited. I'm a former TJ owner so this will be a new experience for me! (I figured I'd wait to tell you that until I was accepted - lol) Anyway here are the specs:

1992k
53,500 miles
auto
4.0
I think it's a 3" lift, but it may be 3.5 or 4". Looks to be all accomplished via springs.
33x12.50 tires
Warn m8000 winch
Wilderness rack
aftermarket bumpers - wouldn't have been my first choice but better than stock
They were asking $5500 and I got it for $4300.

The windsheild is cracked, and it has a slight rear pinion seal leak, but other than that it seems solid. Oh, and yeah the soft top is saggy. RCHavok797 you mentioned spreader bars?? I bought this from a lady who knew very little about the top so I have no idea how it goes up or down or what it should look like. Is there a good source online for this?

Oh yeah - good call PDW. My first stop with any new vehicle is fresh fluids and filters all the way around.

Thanks for looking! - Chris
