What do you see on your indicator panel (AKA dash) when you activate the turn signal? Does it show the proper turn signal flashing?

So Que, let me run this past you.
The switch is working right, but something in the brake switch is sticking. I dont have brake lights on when I am testing this. So power is fed from the switch, to the 2 wires that are needed,,,,,,,,,Then some how power is going from the switch to the brake switch and then out to the other brake light and flashing like the other one because it is coming out of the flasher before the switch. That power is being fed back up the wire to the turn switch??? Does that make any sense.
Think I just thought of a way to check this.
I'm thinking you're on the right track with this.

Either that or it's internal to the turn/hazard switch assembly.

Those are the only two points where I can see the P wire coming into the equation.

Yes, Hazard switch could be the culprit. Try exercising the hazard switch many times and see if the symptoms change. This has proven to be the cause in the past for a few jeepers. Rare, but it has happened.

HEY!! WAIT A SECOND!! Have you checked the turn signal switch inside the column? The hazard switch is attached to it!

Yes and no. They were working properly after the harness re-install. It was a few days after that that they started this. I had one other thing to fix before I could take it on the road. It as tranny mounts and something under the hood. Took it for a ride one night and this showed up the next day. May have started that night, but I don't remember seeing it. I remember having some issues with the printed circuit for the turn signals on the dash. I had a tough time getting them to work. That is how I know that the rear signals were working correct before it left the garage. Something has shifted that is now causing this.
Do you see what I am talking about from the PDF about the connector?

WOW lots of posts while I was out.
Yes the dash shows the right signal when the turn signal is activated.
Yes I have pulled the turn signal switch out and replaced it with one from the junkyard. Same problem. As it is now, the dash is apart, the column is apart. The switch is hanging free, plugged in, activated by hand for now. Have taken the old switch apart completely, Really! bent up the tabs and have it all apart. Cleaned and scrubbed it, reassembled it and tried it again, Still the same problem

I saw what you were talking about in the PDF. You said you were having issues with the printed circuit board. What did you do to fix that? Could the printed board simply be beyond repair and your fix, while intended to be permanent, was actually temporary in nature?

Doubtful. It just needed to be plugged in right, which is a pain in the butt with the short wire harness and it just needed some cleaning and brushing. Those lights are hooked to the front signal lights per the diagram.
This thing is really kicking my butt here

I get it. Sometimes things like this can be seriously frustrating.

What did you find. I was thinking it might have been a flasher, I had some similar problems happen with mine when it was the hazard flasher, more specifically an e flasher. I'm not too familiar with the wiring aspect of these, but I have been known to get lucky.
