bolt size??

95 yj 4.0L my bolt for my front trackbar at the axle fell out... does anyone know what the bolt size is???

who cares? just take it all the way out and be done with it.






seriously though, IIRC the top bolt should be the same as the bottom. pull that one and take it to the hardware store with ya.

Tuck is right. Remove both track bars and you will like your YJ allot more.

Removing my track bars was the best upgrade I did to my YJ.

How does it change the ride, on the road? I realize that it will allow more flex off road.

well..

since its off now, why dont you bungee it somewhere out of the way and drive around for a few days? chances are you wont notice a differance,

just keep in mind, if your tires out of balance or steering system has play, it will be amplified without the track bar, eventually youll get the infamous death wobble and the jeep will act like its trying to destroy itself

thanx for answerin... i have tried goin without the trac bar and the jeep wonders all over the road. therefore i like the way my jeep handles better with it. i dunno maybe somethin else is wrong with the jeep... this is just one of the things i have tried... my bearings are new.. so are my tie rods.... i tryin to keep away from buying another steering gear box.

so if you really want the right bolt just pull up to a friendly hardware store where they'll let you "try" a few until you find the right one.

its an M12 if anyone wants to know.... thats the largest bolt that will fit
