body lift before and after *pictures*

hey guys,

i got my 35" tires, with my RC 4" lift they were rubbing just driving around town, even with TJ rear fender flares. so i got a RC 1.5" body lift kit ( for $72 shipped to my door ), an air gun, a chuckle about how hard it is for you folks that live in the east to install this lift and 45 minutes later... no more rubbing

Looks good. It is nice not living in the salt belt. Mine was installed in about 45 minutes as well, and that includes beer breaks.

But.... you put on a body lift bigger than 1"..... im pretty sure you go to hell for that

Its the giant shackles . FYI the braces in the shackles bottom against your frame and dont allow your rear suspension to flex hardly at all. Cut the braces out flip them around and you'll see alot more flex.

i only have longer shackels in the rear, stock on front. And i dont hit or bind at all in the rear. And i can flex my 35s out to the point i use to rub Bad, so i put on a set of daystar poly bump stops in the rear.... got sick of cutting brand new tires.

Years ago I ran the same shackles for a day before realizing it. My old trailmaster and RE springs would probably flex out to a flatter longer spring than those if your not hitting. But I'd be if you look you'll see paint rubbed off the frame.

Where did you order the lift from? I haven't looked too hard but most of them I've seen are around 100 shipped and I'm looking to get a 1.5.
