Painted the NP231 lime green. It was the girlfriend's pick of color....although after I told her, she thought I was painting the tcase for my ZJ and then told me the lime green doesn't match my red truck. Oh well. It's the only lime green transfer case I've seen so far.

Ready to come out. All electrical connections and hoses removed. I'm going to Vegas tomorrow, though, so I won't be able to work on it for another week. When I come back, the 2.5 comes out.

LOL. If you recall, you have given me advice (twice!) about painting the t-case. I think the second time you even yelled at me for not remembering the advice you gave me in the first place.

It looks damn cool, though. I can't wait until all this is done!

If I yelled at you at all, I hope it was in a "supportive" tone.....

Enjoying watching your build. Keep the camera busy, you can sort all the pics out later, right? Mean Max caught a missing plug on my AX5 by lookin at my pics, I completely missed it.

I'm waiting on JB Conversions to restock on their Super Short SYE, should be any day now, then I'm doing the SYE, CV shaft, and the True Neutral Mode Plate swap while I'm in there. I was looking at your old pics of your SYE and Plate install to get some landmarks. I got the plate from Morris 4x4, and a Cherokee shaft from my buddy mjjeeper, just need JBC to get rolling again.

Yeah, it wasn't really yelling, but you get the idea.

I'm in Vegas for the Rubik's Cube National Championships (yes, I'm serious), but when I come back, it's back to work!

Good luck with the SYE--let me know if you need any help with it. I've had my tcase open so many times now I feel like an expert. If you haven't already, get yourself a pair of LOCK RING PLIERS. They will save you hours.

Good luck in Vegas! Remember, kick the Hookers out early, get a good night's sleep...

Yeah, Good Lockring pliers are on my list, got a nice set of Snapring pliers already. The only real issue will be setting the pinion angle. I've got 6* shims mounted on my RC 4" lift and a TC drop on there now. After the SYE and removing the Drop, I'm hoping I don't have to remove the shims and re-weld the perches, or wait for new shims from the Big Brown Truck. My angle finder will give me the good (bad) news....time will tell.

Ok, back from Vegas so I had some catching up to do. I took out the AX5 and the 2.5L engine today. So empty!
