Bikini Top Mis-Match

Will a strapless Bestop Bikini top for a 1994 YJ fit an 89 YJ?

well, I don't know for sure...but I would think so. The cage differances are mainly in the rear. With pre-92 having the diagonal bar, and 92+ with the complete hoop.

So it might work, you could always return it if it dosen't

Check out the differences of the roll cage on these two photos . . .

These are both Bestop products.
Hope the info helps.

Looking back at these photos - I think a '94 top would probably fit on the '89 but a top for an '89 wouldn't fit on a '94.

Excellent diagram!
Yea I thought it was odd that they sold two different models of the bikini for the two styles of YJ.

This is a used top and cheap so I'll be the beta tester to see if it works.

hey-

If it doesn't work, you can always get a windshield adapter channel from JC Whitney for under $19. They go by year, so just tell them your year and who makes the bikini.
