big problem...need help now!!

Ok so I went to change out my fuel injectors to bigger ones(but they didn't fit). So I had to but my old ones back in....and my front 2 injectors just poor/shoot out gas whenever I turn my jeep on. So I pulled the fuel rail again and put it back in and same thing. I replaced all the o-rings also. The rail just kind of sits there until I but the bolts in. I tried pushing on the rail, but the fuel injectors didnt seem like they wanted to seat(if they are supposed to). idk what else to do!!! Help This is a 2.5l

hm... turn the key on with the injectors out, the fuel pump will prime for 2 seconds and if gas shoots out its stuck open

I think he is saying that it shoots out where the rail attaches to the injector... not out of the injector nozzle itself.

Well I am not quite sure where it was coming out of. I just knew the around the front 2 injectors. I didn't have any vaseline, but in the dermatology field(my work) Aquaphor is the next best thing and I had some. So I pulled the rail, lubed up the o-rings, and re-installed everything. Works fine now with no leak. Ripper I tried your trick and no leaks before I installed the rail. and thanks Mark for the lub info. Guess I should always keep some handy!
