I got em last year. I only put in the GF side one since I'm manly and she's cold all the time, but it's a pretty cool little invention. Definitely get a set.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about defrosting the windows...

yeah, you can flip them to aim it at the windsheild still

If you guys read through the entire thread, it explains everything.

They flip forward or back, so that you can defrost the windshield and then flip it to hit you.

I'll prolly pick up a set at the beginning of Oct. Does it rattle or bounce arouund at all?

after abotu 5 months or so my pass side did pick up a bit of a rattle when it was left in the defrost position but a quick 1/4 turn of the pivot screws took care of it. until it's time to use the heat i can forget that they're even there.

anyway, here's some pics with two of them installed to show the difference in the up and down positions. if it looks like the pass side is too long for the vent that's because it is. that one was a left over i made that the guy decided he didn't want so i installed it on mine rather than let it go to waste. the pass side vent is an inch smaller than the driver side however so that's why it sticks out further than the vent. no big deal and it still works just fine.

this is a great idea.. i home brewed my own just to see how well it worked (from plastic floor vent diverters in home depot)..

my only reservation with this design is screwing into the dash.. if either a mount could be fabbed to attach to the vent (less invasive).. or do what i did.. double sided tape..

Sentinel, once i get the kinks worked out of my jeep i just put back on the road, i may be getting a set of these from you..
