I might try making a set for myself using plastic plumbing pipe. I figure I will cut the pipe in quarters on my bandsaw. Then cut some pipe caps in quarters as well, and glue the pieces together. The only metal to fab up would be the brackets. Sounds simple enough... will let you know. I would like to come up with another mounting option as I don't like drilling holes into anything. If I don't like it, I would like to remove it without leaving a trace.

I might look into rare earth magnets....

I like it. You start selling these? The link didn't work for me. Need to install the better blower motor sitting on my porch first. I think somewhere someone made something to redirect the lower vents upwards also.

I have a question,

My sister has a TJ and is always complaining about the heater. I don't have access to measure the dashboard on that vehicle. Would it be the same size as my YJ?
Also, is this useful on a TJ?
