Best YJ Soft top?

Its almost time for me to start looking for a soft top. I was wondering if there was a definite top to buy, or not to buy, a perticular brand or style to stay away from, or seek out?
Thanks for any info,

I found Tim at California Tops in Edmonton, AB to be a pretty good guy to deal with. His quality in workmanship is very good as well. Plus, being that you are in Canada, and so is he - shipping doesn't involve borders / customs - not that it would make too much of a difference...

There have been debates about the service from California Tops (even from locals, as Im in Edmonton) - it all goes person by person. But California Tops is out of business not anways.

They don't call themselves BESTOP for nothing. They have excellent quality and have something to fit every JEEP. I modified a Supertop with two small darts in the rear to allow mine to fit over the full cage, eliminating the rear support frame and making it much easier to R&R. Reasonably priced and available on-line or at your local FWD store. Hard to beat.

Bestop... Fit's great, fairly tough. I've dragged a few tree limbs across it and no tears just a few bark marks.

Bestop makes OEM Jeep tops for Jeep. I think that speaks highly of their quality and fit. I have the bestop replace-a-top and a sunlighter bikini, I love them both.

Besttop sunrider,
I love mine. not only is the flip back sunroof nice but as a added bonus I did not realize is that with the windows out in the summer it folds back on to of the trunk real tight when you are not using it. This basically gets rid of the bikini top. I can put the sunrider up alot faster than I can put a bikini top on and it provides full coverage for the people in the back seat as well.

It litterally takes about 30 seconds to put up and down........

The only issue I have is getting the upper door windows on my half doors, they are banjo tight and you better do it on a hot sunny day or it will never happen.....

well thanks guys. It seems besttop is the way to go!
I do have all the brackets from the old softtop on my jeep, and the hardware. How can I tell what kind of top I can use with my brackets.....
Just realised!, I still have the 1/2 door uppers. Im going to go check what brand they are.....That will tell me what top was on my brackets

Thanks Guys,
