Best Year YJ's '94 & '95...What about '93's???

I always see the question being posed:

" I am new to YJ's and want to buy one, what are the best years?"

To which everyone seems to reply the 1994 and 1995 models.

Now I know a few of the major differences for '94 and '95 models (external clutch slave and bigger brake booster in '95), but what are the differences and changes from '93 through '95 in addition to those already mentioned?

I am not talking about optional equipment availability (like 3rd brake lights and anti-lock brakes) but more towards mechanical capability changes and improvements specific to the last two years of YJ production.

Thanks!

Nothing major in the last 2 years. And for what its worth, almost all YJs are getting close to 20 years old, so any one you find in good shape, is a good one.. Cause most people on here upgrade most of the problem parts.

So are there any other mechanical upgrades or benefits to a '94 or '95 over a 1993 YJ?

In my opinion the 91-95 are the best. They have either the 4.0 or the MPFI 2.5. 92-95 if you want the family style roll bar.

None that make any difference. I want a 95 Sahara just cause it was the last of its kind.

My 94 had the larger 760 ujoints in the front axle and a larger 1330 joints on the rear axle. That's the only diff I've seen between mine and ne of the older ones.
