best top soft doors... bad

I am replacing a supertop from bestop with 2 peice soft doors just like i have now. the lower door latches they sent have a completely different latch mechanism and they dont send anything to make the latches work. I guess they assume ever single jeep in the time frame all have the same latch. Their own old top/ doors and door latches are different!! They dont even mention anything at all about the actual part the latch would latch to when closed in their instructions, like it doesnt exist. very disapppointed in best top at this point. their old one was a sliding mechanism when you pulled on the paddle, the ones the send now appear to need a round pin of some sort for the latch to latch

Can you post up a pic of what you were sent and what you originally had? A pic of the strike on the tub would be helpful as well.

maybe you need to install the stock door pins.

does it look like the doors need these to latch onto?

yep. I dont see how those would mount on the tub but thats the post that the latches they sent would hook up to. I installed the old latches on the new doors for the time being. Ran into door issues, the bottoms of the doors are very tough to close now, the new doors seem to be stopped from closing because of the rubber seal around the edge, I have to really push/pull to get them closed and if I put the top half of the doors on nearly impossible to close the door. The passenger side is the worst, Ive tried every possible adjustment combination and no matter what its very difficult to close and there is a gap in the top front corner between the windshield and the door that i can slip a finger thru its so big. crossing my fingers someone on this forum has a special skill/trick to get the doors aligned

Where can i get those door pins in the pic?
