Best Sound?

Just want my baby to sound good. I have a really nice glass-pack but im sure it'll make it sound like a ricer or something. My friend gave it to me after it didn't fit on his car it was $120... Any setups anyone wants to share? 4.0L Inline 6.

If you got any videos or anything or pics post em'. Thanks guys.

Yep, it will sound like a ricer if you put that thang on. Unless you have a V-8, with headers, and true dual exhaust, that glasspack will sound like a ricer.

I have a Cherry Bomb Pro Muffler on my Jeep, and it sounds bad ***, a little loud, but sounds good, or you could get the Thrush Welded Muffler for even cheaper, and it will sound probalbly just as good.

I just bought (2) Thrush Welded Mufflers for my 86' Monte Carlo SS for $34.99 each. Not yet installed, but for a V-8, should sound pretty good.

A jeep will never sound like a ricer. If you were to put it on don't expect a nice low rumble, though. It's only going to muffle the sound a bit.

I have a flowmaster on mine and it has a pretty nice growl. Like a mustang going through puberty.

A nice stock exhaust system with a middle of the road muffler will make it sound the best. Check any local exhaust shop.

Magnaflow cat and flowmaster 50. Needed to replace my rusted out stock junk and it ended up costing less than stock replacement.

Sounds good in town, can't hear it over the wind noise on the highway. Works great.

I run straights and it sounds good IMO but make sure you run it all the way out the back you dont want the exshust fumes in the cab and plus it makes it quieter in the cab. But to see what you really want i would recommend youtubeing jeep yj + whatever exshust set up

A glasspack will not make it sound like a ricer, now if you throw on a dumb@ss tin can fart canon on it, yeah, but not a glasspack.
I have a magnaflow on mine right now, and Ill tell ya, Im going back to a glasspack.

There are very few things that a Glass pack sounds good on. A Jeep is not one of them.
