Beefy front bumper

So I'm having a beefy front bumper made for my jeep. When I say beefy I mean like a little over 100 pounds. Will this have an effect on my jeep when off roading? If yes how so?

You'll get what feels like a softer front ride, sometimes spongy, and the suspension will sometimes bottom out easier than before.

Im trying to figure out why you want such heavy bumper. 100lbs is just over kill IMO. You should post a pic of it!

Before you build a big assed bumper, why don't you find out how it will affect handling. Go to Home Despot, get 90lb bag of cement for about $5, strap it to front of Jeep, and go for a drive. Make decision RE big assed bumper. Return bag of cement for refund.

The more I cut off of the bumper the better it looked until I just took it off.
