bastard pack?

I have a spring over with the arch slowly going in the opposite direction, just plain worn out ( 150,00 miles stock springs). Question is I have a set of rear 2 1/2 lift springs from my old CJ and was wondering if I could split this pack up and spread it out over my 4 stock springs and gain a little extra life out of them before I replace the four? Seems like it would be a cheap temp fix, all I would need is a couple spring clips, and a dismantle. Since I have the springover my U- bolts aren't boogered up from drag or anything. Seem worth it or any fore seen problems

I don't see where it would be a big deal, other than getting the front and back level. I see where people mix and match different spring packs all the time here. I got a 79 chevy 3/4 tone with all the springs on it yet, you can have em if you can figure out a way to get em. My company delivers packaging as far as altoona if you wanted to pm me or something. I'm pretty sure they are 2 1/2 inches, though they may be three. Anyone know without me having to run up to my mom's to the garage?

I've heard that if you get a hold of a set of factory yj springs you can cut the springs eyes off the main leaves and use the main leaves as an add a leaf, using the four add a leaves that came off the same vehicle should help keep you level also.

If I'm not mistaken the CJ & YJ leafs are different widths. That would cause some issues.

Yea,I know that stock cj springs are 2 inches but the op said 2 1/2 inches, maybe someone did a yj spring conversion on the cj??

CJ rear springs are 2 1/2" it's only the front springs that are 2"
