That may be true, but some have ball bearings and some have tapered bearings. I like tapered.

Ok.... you all bought Timken, but were they all made in China? I am really trying to get the best product so it will last another 100K miles like the OEM ones did. So far I am thinking SKF seem to be the best for the money and only a little more than the Timkens. Timkens used to be made here in the USA, and used to be the go to brand 4 and 5 years ago and before, but times change and I wonder if the Timken has too.

I have not put them on yet, so they are still in the box. After close inspection there is absolutely no indication anywhere on the bearing, seals or box as to country of origin. If it was from China wouldn't they have to say so?
