B pillar frame tie in

Who has tied their cage to frame in B pillar. Pics please. Ive been looking for ideas. Where cage attaches to floor rotted away on mine. Was going to sandwich two plates, but wanted to see what other people did.

Here's how I did mine On my old YJ:

Inside, I cut out the rot, put in new sheet metal, and put new plates on the bottom of the b-pillar since those had some rot too. Then I drilled holes through the new base plate and used grade 8 hardware to bold the outer plate to the inner, sandwiching the body.

The rubber isolators keep vibes down.

Did similar for the a-pillar:

Used these in the B-pillar, then copied them and made my own for the A.

Then I used some excess tubing to run it to the frame. You could easily cut these all yourself, but since I copied their design, I decided to buy at least one pair.

FWIW, I intentionally mounted the A and B pillar tie ins 90 degrees off to combat the "pivot" issue that some have suggested may occur in a hard roll.

Ended up selling the Jeep prior to ever doing the C-pillar tie in, plan was to do them the same way with a longer tube.
