axle width

anybody know the stock axle width of a jeep wrangler wms to wms

The Dana 35 is 60.75". I do not know the Dana 30's. (yes they can be different)

True, they can be different on many 4X4's, but the FSM lists the "track width" (tire center to tire center on stock wheels?) for the YJ as 58.0" front & rear, so I think they're the same on our YJ's.

If the track widths are the same then the wheel mounts are the same because in order for them to be different, the rims themselves would have to have different backspacings front and back.

Track width is the distance from tire contact patch centerline to centerline.

Naturally.

What I meant was that I didn't know how the 58.0" track width spec would relate to the WMS to WMS info that the OP wanted.

Meaning, I don't know if "track width" = "WMS to WMS" or not.

Ok, gotcha. Then no, track width does not equal WMS to WMS. It is the center of the tires.
