Take the old one out.
Put the new one in
Bleed the brakes.

You may have to swap yokes if its crossing the 1993/4 line for the swap because of different ujoints.

Or use a 1310/1330 conversion U-joint. That's what I did when I swapped in D30/D35 from a 4 banger YJ to get the 4.10 gears. '95 axles into a '90 YJ.

Just a point to ponder (and if I don't ask you, someone else on here will be sure to )

why?

I mean, unless you're getting the "new" 35 for cheap/free, if you're going through the trouble to replace your axle, why not go for something with a better reputation at strength and reliability? (XJ Dana 44, Explorer 8.8, etc)

I'm guessing the swap is because the OP broke the stock rear end.

I'm getting it for $100. The po had the rear regeared but not the front. I'm not doing and crazy 4wheelin, I just would like to have it in case I ever need in, line in a snow storm or on some trails

$100 is a normal price for a D35. I don't understand, do your axles have different gear ratios?
