IS THERE A KIT TO EITHER ELIMINATE THE VAC. SHIFT OR CHANGE TO MANUAL CABLE OR ELECTRIC?

Yes, Quadratec sells a kit that will replace the vacumn system with a manual cable actuated system. I think it goes for about $200 and its fairly easy to install. I don't own one yet but its on my wish list. I've yet to hear a bad thing about it.
