10-30 it is!!!

Everything is back together, but I don't feel like fighting the Black Friday crowds to get a few quarts of oil and ATF, so the test drive will have to wait until we get back from camping this weekend.

While pouring the used ATF and oil from the drain pan to a jug, I found this little guy (in the oil). I'm assuming it came from the transmission, and it looks like a detent ball. I pulled the three detent plugs from the passenger side and all three have their springs and detent balls like they are supposed to. Any idea where else this might have came from?

There is a bearing in the rear case under a gear on the cluster gear, behind 5th shift hub as I remember off the top of my head, but that's on the AX15. Did you find this in the front case half or the rear case half? Also one for the 5th gear shift detent which is separate from the 3 stacked shift detents in the side of the intermediate plate.

This was in the rear half of the case.

Do you know where the detent cover is for 5th gear? Is there another on the drivers side?

Unlikely that it is anything other than the 5th detent ball. It is on same side as the other detents, just further back on the rear case, same side.
