ax5

I found a ax5 tranny for dirt cheap.But its off a tj i was wondering if it would fit a yj.

Yes it will fit a YJ.

1995 YJ. 2 inch BDS Spring lift. 1 inch shackle lift. 1.25 inch JKS Body Lift 33x12.5x15's. Engo 10,000 pound winch.

It'll fit but your better off doing a ax5-ax15 swap

I bought two broken ones for 25 bucks a few years ago. The only thing I've done with them is move them from different spots in the garage.

Ima try and rebuild the old I found a rebuild kit on ebay for 125.I heard it was not to hard and if it works i can sell it and get some money back.

I picked it up today shifts smooth there were no metal shavings in the trans oil. I will put it some time this week.

There are similar there a few company's that make kits to adapt ax15s to fit on 2.5s
