AX15 conversion w/ ext slave cyl.

I'm in the middle of replacing the pukegot in my 88 with an Ax15 from a 97 TJ and I'm going to upgrade to the external slave while I'm at it. I bought a slave for a 97 and noticed the tube fittings are different on the new slave. I found a master cyl and tube assy from a local yard with matching fittings but the master won't clear the brake booster. I have a little more than 4 inches of clearance between the firewall and the booster and the new slave needs almost 6 inches.

Any suggestions...????

Thanks

I did the conversion to the external slave on my '93. I purchased the entire set-up from the dealer for a little over $100 and it was already bled and ready to bolt in. Look for a '95 YJ, they used an external set-up so it should work perfect for you.
