automatic choke not working

no plans to replace the carter YET, just want to get the auto choke working properly.

runs fine cold, bogs to sh*t once it warms up.
choke is stuck, and its flooding itself.

how do i get this working properly?
thanks.

If you can physically move the butterfly, then I would say you need to replace the bi-metal heat element. Not a real big job. If the butterfly is stuck...clean the heck out of it with choke and throttle cleaner.

As said above..clean it up with carb cleaner. Then I'd spray some WD40 on it too.
