I was into import cars and a real nice old lady t-boned my 1988 Audi Quattro and banana'd the chassis. I bought the YJ bone stock in 2009. I started wheeling it in 2010 on 34" Swampers and a 4" lift and have been enjoying it since. In the last month I have just finished a total rebuild of the front axle and swapped in the Dana 44, so I only have the one dirty picture from last weekends Ohio4x4 club ride of the current setup.

My YJ is a 1993 with the 2.5, ax-5, and 231. Pretty standard setup, she's got 3.5" Skyjacker Springs, Stock length Boomerang Shackles from VACJ5, quick disconnects, SYE, 33x10.5x15 KM2's, ARB Snorkel, TJ flares in the rear, 19lb/hr Ford 5.0 Injectors, VACJ5 CB antenna mount, cobra dx19, best top trail max front seats, and a rampage center console. And here's a list of what I've got waiting to go on... 8.8 w/discs and 4.10's, JB4x4 High Steer bracket, extended brake lines, an e-fan set up and 4" flush mount LED tail lights. My plans are to have it setup and SOA with the 8.8 by May running an Aussie in the rear and 4.88's front and rear, possibly on 35"s again (I say again because it was on 35's when I first got it), and eventually buy a frameless soft top! It's my pavement pounder, I absolutely love it, and cannot wait to continue building her up! Thanks for keeping this contest going!

When I was 14 I thought jeeps looked cool so I got a job and started saving up for one. By the time I was 15 I bought my 88 yj with 128k completely stock. I knew absolutely nothing about cars, but I thought it looked good so I didnt care about the mechanical condition about 6 months later the clutch went out so I bought a repair manual and taught myself how to do it. After that all hell broke loose and I was constantly working on it... Long story short I have now replaced every part on my jeep besides the body and frame. Now that im 19 I have my jeep just about where I want it, until I go 4 link and full width axles.

when I first bought it

Just after I finished SOA and 8.8 swap

My CANADIAN 1990 blue/grey jeep wrangler YJ made in April of 1990
All Stock for now, have 2.5 OME Springs on , P235/75/15 PEGASUS ADVANTA A/T's on Black Steelies, Has Stock gray HardTop, the very sexy old school style rollbar, 5 Speed AX15, NP 231, D30, D35, 3.07 gear ratio, max speed of 80 MPH!!!!..... only if it was 88 MPH then i could time travel......

well hi im JAKE...or as somebody else says it.. "Jake The Snake".... my jeep and i came into contact 5 years before i got her, she was in a field where we got our retarded cats at and i was like thats what i want for my first car, well skip forward 4 years... my mom had asked the owner of the land if we can keep some 4H animals on there property and they said yes and i was always around it always sitting in it and just inspecting it, well a year later on March 17th 2011(16th birthday) my parents bought it for me and surprised me with it, and we've been together ever since, but then the horrible happened i got into an accident on February 03rd 2012 (brakes failed) and i ruined the whole driver side front clip of it but i got her fixed up for the most part... and im driving her. we got some OME 36 R springs on her now and have a procomp bumper thing on it that i got from J&W jeep wreckers for a whopping $30!!!!
Also SPRINGER stands for how i got her in the spring and fixed her in the spring and how i have no shocks just straight springs for now..
1 week after the accident

how she sits well sorta, no recent pics of puddle dashing but here she is

Great selection this month, I narrowed it down to a few but Scary Animal got my vote again this month. I'm a little partial to spring overs and 4.2s.
