•1995 w/ 4.0 AX15 combo untouched. SYE on the 231, tom woods rear and TJ style cv front.

Rancho 44044 front springs (2" stretch) with 1" boom and ashs shocks.
Skyjacker soft ride rear with 3/4 Boom and Bilstiens.
1" daystar body lift.
Flat belly pan being mocked up currently.

Aussie locked dana 30 with synergy balljoints, rugged ridge HD steering and Riddler cover. Leaking axle seal on the passenger side. No sway bar, trac bar or steering stabilizer. Still using vacuum disco and working great!

OX cable locked Ford 8.8 rear axle, hardned yukon shafts, disc brakes.

Both using G2 4.10 R&P's to push 35x12.5r15 treps on aluminum wheels powdercoated black. Pushed out a bit further with some 1.25 spacers.

Custom front stubby grille hugging stinger bumper with quadratech 11k synthetic winch and Prolink.
Rear is the same one it had when i bought it, looks like an older smittybilt SRC bumper/carrier, tried to rip the subrame apart so I'm beefing it up currently.
Genright sliders
Genright first gen tube fenders.
Genright knock off corner armor with flares.
Poison spyder fully built cage with grab handles, currently tweaked.
Bedlined Tub.

All rattle can painted/bedlined by me along with body paint touch ups when I get too close.

Cheap CD player
Kicker dash speakers
Building a custom box to replace the sound bar.
RED led dash lights.
Rigid knock off Winshield mounted cubes.
Underglow rock lights.
Dunertuner switches.
Autopal headlights with the brightest bulbs he offered and the relay mod attached.
CB and firestik both mounted with what I could build out of stuff I had laying around including a rigid light bar mount.....

Its currently my daily driver, I live under 4 hours from moab (driving the jeep). Luckily I also have plenty of great areas to play on locally and no lack of trails, rocks, mountains and challengesl!! SourMash has been worked enough in its short time with me to make up for a life of being babied!!! My dad had multiple CJs throughout the years and never did more than a small shakle lift and a bit bigger tires, he cant belive I molested such a perfectly stock jeep but at the same time never hesitates to take it out for a spin or come check out my latest project. All of the progress, or lack thereof when i struggle, and mind numbing babbling can be followed here: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f22/sourmash-yj-2496593/

-This jeep was originally my brothers; he died unexpectedly and it became mine. I have built it up over the years, but a lot was done by him originally. This jeep is not the biggest on the trail, but it is very capable. I have it at a point where I am happy with it, and how it performs. I would really like to tackle the Rubicon trail in this Jeep some day.

The wife and i had a 1992 YJ in the past it was a great jeep but one mishap on the trail one day took out the motor and that was the end. So we sold it and regretted it ever since

i had a 1994 Bmw 325is that was a great car but just was not what i was looking for and then "Emma" showed up on Craigs List, i found a buyer for the bmw @3800.00 and the next day i went to see her.

The lady selling had her listed for 3500.00 with the bran new lift tires and wheels but after looking over her closely i said im sorry but the best i could offer would be 2400.00 and to my surprise the lady said That's fine so i paid her in cash and was on my way home with my new YJ

Since i got her i took on the task of Rebuilding Ground up including frame, tub, and lots of gutting, cutting, grinding, and welding All was done in the driveway with the most basic of tools and ALOT Of Very Long Days and Nights but still only took about 3weeks to put her all back together. All told She turned out Just the way i wanted and im loving it

I still have a bunch of things i want to get done but it is time i put them off for now and work on them at a later time , I need a Break LOL

Build Thread ,

The day after i got her home
And Current

I have had a love affair with Jeeps since my parents bought me a TJ when I was 18, since then I have owned a total of 4 (not including the numerous parts jeeps I’ve purchased) in my short 25 years of life. This is my first YJ and I fell in love with it from the start. What attracted me to the jeep was the completely rust free body and frame(which you don’t see in New England area), in addition she had a brand new winch, lift kit, tires, clutch and rebuilt topend. I knew there were a few issues to address when I bought her last year but it was nothing I couldn’t handle and it gave me some negotiating power. My build thread is appropriately named “Insert overtime here -> 0lll0” because of a deal I made with my fiancé that ½ of my overtime can go to the Jeep while the other half goes towards the wedding fund. She is still a work in progress but the end goal is to have a very capable offroader that I can still cruise around with the top off on the weekends. Over the past 4 months I have made some substantial upgrades both visually and functionally with the next upgrade being a locked 8.8.

My Build: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f22/s...0lll0-2991425/

Day I got her and how she sits now

Do everything with a positive attitude, it won't always work but you'll piss enough people off to make it worthwhile.

the voices aren't real but they sure have good ideas.

Lots of nice choices here. It was a hard decision for myself considering I followed 2 of the. Contenders builds closely.

Maybe next spring the smurf will be entered when the axles are done
