Anyone use Metalcloak Oil pan skid?

Just wondering if anyone has tried this out, price seems better than a few of the others out there. It says that exhaust might have to be modified which I dont want to do since I already have modified it enough!

Hi goob.

Nice.
I love metalcloak stuff. Too bad my pan is already modified. (smashed in)

I think I want the Metalcloak front bumper.

What happens in my Jeep, stays in my Jeep

Probably no reviews yet, since the product just went live a few days ago.

That would explain it. Do you have any insight as to what exhaust mods are needed as per the website?

That is actually a mis-statement, which I am going to correct on the website now.

What it should say is that on some earlier models, you will need to loosen the exhaust in order to install the skid plate.

Unfortunately, no. The engine block is different enough that the mounts won't line up.

Yes, and there is slotted holes in those locations where alignment could be touchy to make sure it fits as easy as possible.

But, unfortunately, no, we don't have forum-specific discounts. You can always call the shop and see what the sales team can do for you.

I have the tj pipe as well. Anyway I just ordered the skid and a shirt so I will post back later with my results. I will probably wait until I put the AW4 in my jeep to install it.
Thanks Matson

Dang, that's too bad. I'd come down and grab one before heading to Moab next week.

If you decide to make one, I know "a guy" with a 4.2 YJ somewhat local. (wink wink)
