anyone made a home made engine lift????

I'm going to 3 1/4" suspension lift this week, and don't want to drop the tranny, is a MML just as good?? and what have you used to DIY this, also how think is a 1" lift, its mounted at an angle so it won't be a full inch thick. I have new mounts here to put in at the same time. anyone that put one in, please chime in with how thick they are

A MML is a good alternative. I don't know about DIY on this. I am sure it can be done, however I would return your new mounts and get the correct lifted ones. This way you know they are correct and strong enough to last.

I wanted rubber, not urathane, and I wasn't willing to pay a hundred bucks for a lifted mount, and the spacer kits look to simple to pay 30 bucks for

BTW, how do you like your mud rovers??

I love the Dunlops. They have been on about 2 years and I have no complaints. For the price I paid, very hard to beat.

This guy did it, but in a TJ. I don't think you have to deal with the stupid cradle thing on the passenger side mount on a TJ, so it could be a little more difficult on a YJ.
