Any pics of your homemade flat fenders?

Tried searching for this and can't find what I'm looking for. My front fenders are a little banged up in front where they curl down. I like the look of them when there cut off but I don't know what to do about the flares. I have 6" Xenons and am a little hesitant about hacking them up. Just looking for some ideas.

Just make tube fenders from the stock fenders.

Me?

I just removed the fenders (they were beyond rotted), separated the inner fender well and made some templates for the flat steel and bent everything by hand. It uses 3/16 plate on the back and 1/8 on the top. Hand formed straps that bolt on to the existing fender bolts. I'm 6'2" and 270lbs and I stand on them all time...so they're not going anywhere.

Let me know if there is a specific shot you want and I can try and snap some tonight.

Me and a buddy have been talking about doing that to mine,,,we just have not figured it all out. What size pipe did you use on them? As far as the pics any and all would be great! I appreciate all the help I can get.

The pipe is 1 1/4". I went out to take some pics and everything is covered in mud so it'll have to wait till it gets washed to really see much. Just PM me if you start working on it and need some specifics or a certain picture.
