The quality of todays HREW is excellent and is my choice for cages. The material is 2" X .120 wall and some 1.25" X .120 wall was used for the dash bar and floor bars between the front and center hoops.
This cage is not complete - the owner opted to just get the front done - I recommend the rear hoop and 4 spreaders for better protection.
The work in the pics used about 40' of tube - with the bottom mounting plates, the total cost of materials was about $70.
