I was thinking about doing that for the short term. I'm going wheeling this weekend and my buddy is bringing the welder and a torch kit he doesn't need.

Close call with the near frozen beer...almost too close.

Finally got everything back under the hood and started it up for the first time, since the frame swap. One turn and away she went!

Having a hard time burping the coolant... Got 2 gallons in, but thats it...Upper hose is soft. If there is an air bubble at the thermostat, I don't think it will open to purge the air... Temp gauge got to 210* before I shut her down... I don't recall draining much more than 1/2 of a 5 gallon bucket...

Had a small fuel leak on the return line by the fuel tank, but a few turns on the hose clamp fixed it...

Hooked up the shaft brake...used a garge door pulley...

Whats left...
Shocks, on order
bump stops
rewiring accessories, lights, CB etc. Giving her a wiring clean up.
Gonna re Herculine it while the tub is emplty, and probably the fenders too
install hood
rewiring winch solenoid so it under the hood and a quick connection for the controller in the grill
Probably a few other odds and ends

Finally got the coolant flushed and all the air out...

After watching the temp climb past 210 maybe 215-220 I shut her down... I expected once the t stat opened I would see a sudden temp drop.... Silly me... I forgot I installed my electric fan and controller but its still not completely wired up.... I ran a ground and 12V jumper to the controller...

Fan came on at hi, (so the engine was hot) and quickly dropped to low speed...and then shut off.... I restarted her and right at 210-212 fan kicks on drops the temp and she purred like a kitten...OK maybe like a fat house cat...

Some more wiring....Cleaning everything up...

Did the headlight rewire job for the H4s and bypassed the factory feeds...

Also never liked the look of the winch solenoid pack, So I relocated it under the hood...Installed the controller connection into the grill...

Got the new shocks mounted, Moved the bump stops forward an inch, for better contact

Had to cut down the drag link 3/4". When I sent it to Rustys to be shortened I neglected to factor the PM steering box bracket...

Worked on the wiring... Taurus fan relay and fuse..and the off override switch and LED indicator....

Nearly finished up the wiring, front and rear. The PO had wire nuts back by the tail lights, no wonder they flickered with a good bump...

Waiting for my new relay/fuse box, then I'll be done.. I had made my own from the JY, but there isn't room, after the dual battery set up and my OBA manifold, so its for sale....$30 includes shipping. I paid 35 from the JY and rewired it to what you see....

Installed a D30 yoke ubolt flange.

While I did my Taurus switch I tossed in some power points for the GPS, etc...

The end is near...

Whats left...
Rear shocks and bumpstops, Shock are in transit..
Hood
rear Bumper. needs some fabbing to mod to this frame..
Install above relay box.. In transit also.
2nd Battery.. Just need the $$$
New TW front DS...wish list
Test drive!!

Just a reminder to try the UV protector on that Herculiner. It degrades quickly in the sun. In my build thread I have to switch to Monstaliner due to the fading.

Looking great. I need to relocate my bump stops as well. Did you just drill new holes an inch or two forward and put the same screws in the frame?

Under heavy compression my drag link will contact the frame and my extended bumpstops are not lined up due to the pushing forward of the axle.
