Figured while I have easy access to the T case, I ordered the Tera Low 4:1 kit w 2WD low

Puttered a bit today... Got the fuel tank back in and ran the lines. Needed to relocate the fuel filter due to the new shock configuration. Seeing how I'm going with a shaft parking brake, I don't really need the parking brake cables. I ran the filter and fuel line thru the bracket that use to hold the rear parking brake lines... I'll still run them to the same area so if some one looks quick, it'll look like they work (state inspection)

Also mounted the durango steering box and the steering box relocator.

New 136 amp alternator and my 150 amp alt cable kit arrived too. Nice kit, includes 150 amp fuse and gounds cables and I ordered additional cables for my dual batteries and ungraded starter leads...

Pulled the T case off, an apart, Hopefully my 4:1 will be here in a day or so...

Ran the gas tank vent line,
Changed the trans oil....minimally milky....
And replaced that bushing that goes under the shifter on top of the trans...the old one was almost non exhistant.

One I get the tcase back in the tub can go back on...

BBT came. (big brown truck)

My Terra 4.1 kit, some electrical stuff for my taurus fan and a rear tube for the roll bar...

Unfortunately, I've got plans all weekend, but come Monday, If I get the 4.1 in then I can get the tub back on....

Assembled the tera 4.1 kit.

Installed the T case

Installed the rotor kit

Installed drive shaft

Great customer service from Tom Woods. Had to send the shaft back so they could swap out the CV Yoke to aflange for the rotor kit. Had new uni joints installed, and the put a new boot and fresh coat of paint on it too.

Was hoping to get the tub on tomorrow but its suppose to be Fing cold out w a nasty wind chill. Since the tub is in the yard, guess it'll wait a day or two

Got the tub back on the frame... Fought me the whole way. Found two rotted body mounts on the tub. (I knew one was soft) the driver rear and passenger front.


Back into the garage on the frame. Jacked up one side and fixed the rear one already.

I've skidded logs but this is the first time I've skidded a jeep...

Sure looks good, sitting on the clean frame.

The rotor brake was my only concern for clearence. The edge catches the muffler heat shield. Nothing some tin snips can fix...
