Welcome to the Forum:
What about brake lights on left rear? Sounds like the turn signal in the stalk. I had almost identical on my 99 Cherokee. I just operated the switch a couple of dozen times and it cleaned the contacts. I've never pulled the wheel, on a YJ, but there are hundreds of posts on this forum on how to do it, and the tools needed.

Regards,

Jim W

Sounds like the R/F side marker light bulb is out/broken connection.

FWIW, front side marker lights and front turn signals are designed to flash alternatively.

You have a bad socket in the right front

I think you're right.

I misunderstood the description. I thought the RF worked on hazard.

Last one I chased, a mouse had chewed a wire loom and cut one of the wires going to socket. The simple stuff is sometimes perplexing.

418 miles on 19 gallons of gas. Can't beat the BBD !

The bulb being in backwards is common. The required bulb is an 1157 dual element bulb that has 2 alignment pins that have higher/lower locations on the base of the socket to orient the bulb. They can be forced into the socket, and then it will have an issue.

I was close - the same thing happened to me but both my sockets were bad on that front corner
