Keep an eye out in the classifieds for some 2-2.5" lift springs. You can piece together a suspension lift pretty cheap if you're patient. In addition to the extra clearance, you'd get better flex, and possibly a smoother ride.

I dont think that would be a smart idea to lift the body off the frame that far since you plow with it, I think that you would risk more damage or quicker damage than the average jeep with a body lift with the plow usage. Just something to think about...I dont know how you plow or how often you do it but I know the plow trucks my buddies use see some pretty severe abuse that wouldnt mix well with a body lift!

It has been done more times than you can imagine, and by several folks on this board.
I had pucks in my old Scrambler and they held up for a few years.
Hockey pucks are made of urathane, and can handle being frozen (they do it for the games) and then they beat the **** out of them with sticks. What more can you ask in terms of durability!?!
Plus, Wal-Mart has them for about $1 each.
Get some drill bushings or sleeves from a hardware store when you get the bolts and you are good to go. You can even stack them for more height.

What's up with your top??? BTW You are crazy! JK.....LOL I plan on a 1" BL so I can do a 1" MML and lose my Tcase drop. On a tight budget and little to no wheeling and a rust free tub you could go 3". Just don't hit anything.....

If you are sticking with 1", get the Daystar kit. You will absolutely love it. Best 1" BL on the market.
You do need to lose those shackles too, though

Hey man, you really need to concider loosing those shackles. Those are scary lookin.
As far as the BL, get the daystar as mentioned and go with the 1". From what I have seen, Quadratec is just as good price wise as most of the others.

Aren't plows usually attached to the frame of a vehicle? That wouldn't put any more stress on the body mounts than bouncing around through mud puddles far as i can see.

This is true but you need to look at the "shear" load. The body can shift forward if you hit a curb hard with the plow or something that stops the jeep HARD.
