Alternator Belt popped
OK so I ran into a little bit of a problem, I was driving tonight and I had no lights or power to my radio. I pulled over and popped the hood and the Alternator Belt was gone. (FYI I replaced it when I first bought it about a month ago) so I had to get a new battery and belt but I'm wondering why a month old belt popped? Could a pulley be out of alignment? Maybe a pulley seized up? I really don't know, maybe y'all can help, thanks.

You are on the right path....too loose, pulley misaligned, pulley seized, harmonic balancer rubber coming apart and allowing the pulleys to walk.
