Alright guys a dumb tire question

Ok i wanted to get me a cool spare tire cover off of ebay but i found that there are 2 major sizes for jeeps. one is the 30x9.5 (which my jeep has on all 4's) and there's the 225x75x15 (which is the size of my spare tire) what is the difference between the two. will either tire cover fit? and what if i had a flat. could i use this spare tire?

A 225/75 is about 28" tall versus the rest of your 30" tires.... I'm not too familiar with tire covers but I don't think one would fit the other very well. The 225 would be fine as a temporary spare on the front if you kept it out of 4WD. I'm not sure how well it would work in the back. I think it would be alright as most passenger cars come with a "donut" temporary spare.
