Air restrictor?? Can't find it....

Does anyone know if the 88's were made with restrictor??
I have the stock 6 4.2L from 88 and I can't seem to find the restrictor

anyone have pictures or anything of this year??

I don't think it applies to your engine and year.

to tell ya the truth tho, it could go both ways, my jeep ran worse after doing this for like a week, i dont know if it was cuz i have a k&N and the cpu was having trouble with all the airflow or what, but its finally back to normal, and thats it -- normal, i saw a boost with the k&n but not so much this mod, and i have both restrictors out

94 V8 YJ, SOA, H1's, 37's, HP D44, D60, 4.88's, winch and some other goodies
1946 CJ2A, 225 V6, T98 D18, Warn OD, D30/D44. Dual winches mild lift & 34's
1966 M416 1/4 ton Military Trailer Expo Trailer

Which lever do I pull?

oh yeah DRUNC i forgot to say... if you want pics or where they should be i should be under the hood of my jeep tomorrow and i could snap some digital pics, i also have what the restrictors look like out... mine were a pain and the tabs broke when they came out, but i dont plan on putting them back in... i dont understand why DC would have in the first place they dont do anything

Your engine is newer and different than mine....I guess mine doesn't have the restrictor...it's the 4.2, or maybe the guy before me took it out already...but he never wheeled it, and didn't seem like the kinda guy that would give a ****.

Oh well...
but any pics on with the K&N would be nice...after I get my lift this week, then that's the next thing I wanna do...

i just got a k&n that goes in the stock box... so if you want what looks like a stock underhood shot i can arrange that
