Air condition on 89 jeep wrangler islander

What would it take to convert this air condition to the new Freon?

All that it takes is different O rings. Pretty easy process. You can mix Freon until it breaks down.

I can add new freon now or change the o ring first and then change them?

It is a good idea to change the drier, expansion valve, o-rings and flush the system. Install the proper refrigerant oil after evacuating the system and charge.

Or, just stick the freon you can get in it, and enjoy.
