After brake booster install, brake lights are on???

We just finished installing the brake booster for the 93 Renegade, ran into a few bumps such as the D clip on the brake pedal broke, O Riley did have them so we had to rig something up, until I locate one. The main issue is, after installing the new brake booster, the brake lights remain on, any ideas, do I need to adjust the brake light sensor?

The brake lights as in the tail lights, or the brake warning light on the dash?

You need to adjust the brake light switch under the dash, located on the pedal assembly.

When I did mine, the hole in the new BB plunger had just a little more metal between the hole and the end. This casued the brake switch to be "on" all the time. I did not see an adjustment, so just ground a little metal off the end of the plunger until the switch worked properly. (did not touch the hole at all, just the end of the plunger)

you guys were right, the brake switch needed to be adjusted, the red button was not engaged which was causing the lights to be on. Thanks for your help guys.
