Acceleration noises

Hey-

I have a 95 4Cyl with only 25,800 miles on it, and I have done some "do it yourself" HP gains and mods. When I am on the highway, i usually floor it to merge on and get over, but when i hit 73-75Mph I hear a noise like a piece of paper in a fan (only momentarily) then it dies off and i dont hear it again. My RMP gague reads about 2900-3000 around 75MPH, and i guess this is normal? Anyone else run 3000 at 75MPH? Could the noise just be a speed vibration of something loose or what? Thanks alot!
