AC into Onboard Air??

I have heard from a couple of you that it is possible to turn your AC compressor into an onboard air compressor. I am interested in doing this because in upstate NY, when it is hot you just take the top and doors off. But anyway, if anyone has any ideas or informatioN(how much $) it would be great. Thanks.

I have done it. Very easy to do, Cost approx. $150. Do a <a href="http://www.google.com" target="_blank">www.google.com</a> search for on board air. You will find numerous articles. I went to <a href="http://www.off-road.com" target="_blank">www.off-road.com</a> look under the cherokee section. there is a very good write up with pics. If you want pics of my oba let me know.

You don't need the solenoids in your system unless you have ARBs.
