? About my 87 wrangler

Did an 87 wrangler come stock with a 4 speed tranny? It has a 258 and a twin stick transfercase i know its not stock but im not sure about the tranny does anyone know?

Not stock. Either a 3 speed auto or a 5 speed standard in all YJ's.

Probly swapped from a cj to replace the ba-10 and maybe even the engine to

I'm thinking it might of came out of a international scout bc the front and rearend and transfercase came out of a scout

You'll be doing yourself a favor by reading the Frequently Asked Questions sticky thread, and look at the stock YJ specs, plus anything else there that applies.
