95' YJ mild build

so the daughter is going to be driving in about a year and a half so i figured i would pick up a project and get working now since I am not home much.
she said she wanted a jeep so thats what i got
picked this rig up for cheap, needs lots of work, the PO did some crappy welding and hack job repairs.

pulled the rear diff to fix a leak and seen a lockright.
then decided to spin it around to make sure everything was good and saw a bunch of broken teeth.

rebuild has started finally, installing the 8.8



test fitting the front fenders, still needs adjusting and inner fender to put in but i think it looks good




new top from rugged ridge

more stuff came in while I was gone. rear armor, new mirrors and BEEF motor mounts, also got in new door frames and stock replacement tire carrier.





the rest of the rear armor should be in any day

Looks like a fun project ahead. What do you plan on doing for tires to replace those baldies?

and 35X12.5X15 MTR Kevlars

unless i find a used combo deal for cheaper

Good choice on the tires. They are great offroad and road manners aren't too bad either.

Looks like a great project, wish my dad would have bought me a jeep when i was 16..........but im sure I would have tore it all to pieces.
