95 YJ how'd I do?

Ok so not my 1st jeep to ever drive. My dad has and old CJ5 with the V8 and a 3 speed that I learned how to drive on. But this is my 1st Jeep. 1995 Jeep YJ, I paid 2200 buck. Needs a new top, upper door halves are do able, 109500 miles, nice interior, drives great(drove it 220miles home), 2.5 inch lift, and rust they is do able for now...

Here are some pics

rear tires

front tires

My rocker panels have the worst rust and of course the floor boards to, I know replacement panels are jeep, and I was wanting to make custom rocker guards anyways, can I just cut out the original metal and just make my own rockers out of some thick metal instead of patching up the original then adding rockers over it?

Cool find! You can afford to put the money into it at that price. What are your plans for it? Daily driver? Weekend warrior?

Daily driver, put have the availability to take if off road whenever I needed to, even though I work in the AC all day, I still like to get out and hunt.

Yeah I wouldnt mind a hard top, but I just cant drop a dime for one. Like looking on craigslist, I can get a hard top for like 600, but I can get a full replacement top for 300 bucks easy and it's brand new.
